We'll have enough quality to stay up I think, but one thing is for sure, it's not exactly us "kicking on" from last season is it.
Of course, when have we EVER kicked on from a good season?

By Dec 10th we will have 23 games left and we will have played away at Chelsea, Man City, Spurs, Man U, Liverpool & Everton (6 of the top 7).

Will we get relegated? Based on our games so far and our current form - Yes, definitely.
Will Billic be able to turn things around? I wish he could and would, but I feel he can't and won't be able to.

Absolutely not. We are a mess on and off the pitch, players can't give a damn now and that ain't going to change in a real dog fight! Slav, as much as I like him, is not going to be able to pull us through a relegation battle either.
I think there is a real likelihood that we'll be bottom by 10th December and that, for me, will be where we will be around when the big last starts signing come May!!

Has any team that has strikers that don't score and relies on their fullback to head goals as their chief attacking weapon ever stayed up?

We only have one player to return who might help and that is Chinadoll Carroll. Ayew and Sakho need to get to full fitness to see if we can get better as an attacking force. That will take these next few games.
The real worry is that we are painfully thin in quality as a squad. It all comes back to a shocking transfer window.

Lack of striker is only a part of the problem. We're not creating anything at all and the midfield is far too far away from the poor sod stuck up front in his own
Bacca, lacazette, batshuayi - none of them would have been on ten goals already, they may have created something for themselves but they'd hardly have been latching on to beautiful through balls or superb crosses. Despite the stats even payet has created next to fuck all
